Vasu Goel

Vasu Goel is the Founder and President of Behind the Shelf. He has actively volunteered since 2023 at the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano. Through volunteering and conversations with community advocates and food bank staff, Vasu understands firsthand the impact of food banks in our communities. Vasu founded this non-profit to raise awareness of the challenges that food banks face, how food banks are handling the challenges, and what communities can do to support food banks. In his free time, Vasu plays tennis, enjoys traveling, and avidly follows sports.
