Kathy Abraham

Kathy brings over 30 years experience in non-profit organizations to the Board of Behind the Shelf, including 20 years in management level positions. With a specialized focus of overseeing the Food Service operations in a Senior Living Community, she developed a deep expertise in addressing the nutritional needs of a vulnerable population within a non-profit framework. Most recently, after 2 years as a dedicated volunteer, she accepted the position of Volunteer Coordinator for the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, witnessing the critical role that community support and effective program management play in fighting hunger. Her extensive experience is complimented by a profound passion for tackling food insecurity, a mission she is excited to support as board member.
